Abbott mount / Champawat / Uttarakhand a memorable visit
It was a matter of time when I went to vacations with my family. At first we thought that it would be better to go to Manali, but we had been there many times. Then we thought that this time we go somewhere where we can get some peace, then I started asking my friends and relatives, Everyone started giving their suggestions, but finally we came to know a place which was quite unexplored. This place is in Champawat a city in Uttarakhand, and there are many places to visit, But where we went was the vintage church at the top of a hill called Abbott Mount. The path to that hill was quite narrow, when the car took a turn it would feel as if it would fall into the abyss below, that journey was very exciting and thrilling at the same time, But when we got there it was quite a night, nothing was visible, except our cottage where we were going to stay, And the place where we had to go was at the walking distance.
The cottage we were going to stay in was built before independence and its Architecture was very attractive. It is said that the cottage was of an Army Personnel, who used to come there for his holidays. He had a lot of pictures and antiques, that cottage looked like an antique shop.

And the local people said that the speciality of the place is that the first beam of the sunshine falls on the top of Mount Everest and it was clearly visible and there also becomes a rainbow. “It is a unique scene which is very rare, although I would also say that I have seen a lot of movements but not such a scene”. And I know many people may have seen hill stations in their life, but not such a scene it was just mind blowing and just incredible.
And now I will say about the church (Abbott Mount Church) which has been built before independence, its condition has become very Detroit, and no one comes. But this place is worth visiting, and I say that whoever is reading this post must see it once. For your information I am posting all the images I took there.
